What some people get wrong about Rust safety

If you can't write some things in Rust without unsafe, then all its safety is just empty words? No: appropriate unsafe is a conscious, auditable opt-out of the compiler's guarantees, not a hole. And "safe" Java, C#, and Go are not even the same thing.
